Deering IT services are billed on an hourly basis and are billed once per week during the first month. Bi-monthly for the second month of service. Then monthly for the duration of the contract period. Software & equipment purchased from Deering IT is billed at delivery date. All invoices are payable based on your account's current established terms (see Terms & Conditions below).
 

On-site Service

1. Due to the unique nature of each of our customers, please contact us for rates for your situation.  Established customers will be notified 30 days prior to any rate change.  All customers are billed 32.5¢/mile for one vehicle and 63¢/mile for two.

2. Installation for equipment and/or software not purchased from or directly recommended by Deering IT will be billed at the applicable hourly rate plus $15.00/hour if the service requires one person or $25/hour if it requires two. Deering IT reserves the right to refuse to install and/or support products not purchased from or directly recommended by us if we feel the product(s) do not meet our quality standards.  If a customer insists on having us install and/or support the product, a signed waiver will be required that states that the customer understands our view of the product.

3. Service is billed in ¼ hour intervals with a 30 minute minimum.

4. Service hours will be billed on one invoice during the 1st week of each month for the preceding calendar month.
 

Direct Phone Support

1. Direct phone support is available at the same rate as On-Site Service, except, of course, no mileage charges.

2. Direct phone support service is billed monthly and is included in your normal service bill.
 

Paging Service

1. Our customers are encouraged to page us if you require immediate support. You will be billed our normal hourly rates plus $10 per hour to cover the cost of returning your call.

2. As always, we will try our best to return your page as soon as possible, but please be patient. If we are in another client’s office we cannot always just put down what we are doing to return the page. We will, however, return the page ASAP, usually within 15 minutes. If you have not heard from us with 30 minutes, please page us again.

3. Paging service is billed monthly and is included in your normal service bill.
 

Return Calls

1. If we are unavailable when you call, please leave a message, including your name, phone number (with extension if applicable), a brief description of the problem you are experiencing, and the best time to return your call. We will return your call ASAP. We will make every effort to return your call the same business day; however, on some occasions, it may be the next day.

2. Return calls will be billed at the same rate as the paging service detailed above. Return call service is billed monthly and is included in your normal service bill.
 

E-Mail & World Wide Web support

1. Along with support information that will continually be updated and added to here at our web site, you may make support requests via e-mail. If you would like to see specific information added to our Web site, please send us a request by e-mail.

2. E-mail support is billed at our current direct phone support rate. Fees are charged based on the time it takes us to reply to your request. E-mail support service is billed monthly and is included in your normal service bill.
